Materials We Accept..
We find solutions for many different grades of plastic, ranging from LDPE, HDPE, PP, PS and PET just to name a few. Our quality control and vast network of customers ensure the supplier avails of the best solution for their plastic scrap.
Our Irish facility adds value to your materials by manually sorting and re-baling for onward travel to our customers, along with the regranulation of PP post production medical waste back into the manufacturing industries.
Some of the materials we handle for onward processing are:
LDPE- Polythene plastic “LDPE” is commonly used for shrink-wrap packaging or to keep goods dry. LDPE is non-biodegradable which in turn can potentially become one of the worst offenders in landfill, but is 100% recyclable and can be used for many purposes after it has travelled through the recycling chain!
HDPE - found in milk containers, detergent bottles, pipes, chemical cans, crates, packaging, pallets, wheelie bins, carrier packaging bags, packaging pallet profiles.
PET - used for drinks bottles, trays, polyester fibre, films and strapping.
PP - used in automotive bumpers, storage bulk bags, clothing hangers, cosmetic bottles, buckets, crates, pipes, films, fibres, pallets, trays, strapping, string and garden pots.
PS- can be used in home appliances such as fridges, automobile parts, trays, cups, yoghurt tubs and packaging.
PVC used for window frames profiles, door and wall skins, cards, pipes, trays and credit cards.
PC is often used for home water dispenser’s, signage, chocolate trays, bottles, protective safety screens and bus shelter windows.
ABS is often used in car parts/ car components, shower trays, domestic appliance housings, computer casings.
EPS can used for the following purposes - vehicle seating, bumper and door components, floor underlay. Durable packaging for furniture, seafood distribution and fruit & veg distribution is also common.
In some instances, we can take a mixture of these polymer groups together on one truck but this is determined upon further inspection of the goods.
